How the North East LEP is governed

We are governed by our Board which is comprised of business leaders, education providers, economic experts and local authorities.

It is at the North East LEP Board meetings that all of our key decisions are made.

You can view meeting agendas and minutes along with a register of interests for our Board members here.

We also have an Investment Board and two advisory boards; the Business and Sector Growth Board, and the Skills Advisory Panel. Our boards drive forward our delivery programmes while our executive team is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of each programme.
