Integra 61

Integra 61 is a 44.7ha strategic employment and housing site accessed from Junction 61 on the A1M at Bowburn in County Durham.

The project is being supported by the North East LEP and Durham Council Council to help address the shortage in the North East of serviced prime employment sites that are capable of meeting the needs of large occupiers requiring plots to accommodate buildings up to circa 1million sq.ft.

Infrastructure works, including the construction of phase1 internal roads, installation of utility infrastructure and offsite access and highway capacity improvements on the nearby Junction 61 on the A1M are all planned for completion in summer 2019. The complementary offsite highway works are being delivered by Durham County Council.

The site has the potential to accommodate over 4,000 jobs and 300 new houses. The next phase of the landmark development is the creation of 23 flexible units at new business and industrial hub, Evolution@Integra61.
