Scheme to improve access routes around the Lindisfarne roundabout on the A19.

The scheme comprised nine highway capacity enhancements in the Lindisfarne corridor to alleviate pressure on both the local and strategic highway networks.

Works included widening Lindisfarne roundabout to three lanes, widening slip roads and exit lanes, provision of a cycleway, and an additional lane on A194 Leam Lane eastbound.

The scheme also included drainage enhancements.
