The North East LEP area has fewer start-ups’ scaling beyond £1million over three years than the national average. This new programme has come through the North East LEP Business Growth Board and is designed to increase the rate of scaling start-ups.  A start up campaign will seek to reach, engage and identify start- up businesses to sign up to a High Potential Start-up six month Accelerator programme. This programme offers coaching ,workshops and partnering with established entrepreneurs, with three programmes planned over the period to 2021.
