A new build high-quality industrial space at Intersect 19 on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Tyneside.

The project aimed to address the shortage of medium sized high-quality industrial units in the region by unlocking private sector investment. Local developer, UK Land Estates Ltd received support to developed their  first speculative industrial unit in more than a decade on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate, North Shields.

The initial 52,000sq ft. unit was extended prior to completion to 58,0000sqft to facilitate the needs of the Pryme Group who moved in during the autumn of 2018.

The new Pryme Group Centre of Excellence has been formed following the amalgamation of three separate companies – MKW Total Engineering, Stargate Precision Engineering and TME Hydraulics – and houses best-in-class machinery alongside multiple complementary services to allow Pryme Group’s customer base in the oil and gas, defence and aerospace industries to bring innovative products to market.

The company is forecasting to double employment from 70 to 140 over the next five years.
