North Shields Town Centre Public Realm
A package of streetscape and footpath improvements are planned, complementing the Heritage Action Zone building renovations, focussed on Northumberland Square and Howard Street. This phase of works is supporting the North Shields Town Centre Masterplan adopted by the Council in 2021 and aims to enhance investment in cultural activities in this part of the town centre.
