The project is delivering 5G and strategic infrastructure works to accelerate the regeneration of Sunderland Riverside and city centre. There are three work components:

· LoRaWAN (low radio wireless access network), connected to a range of sensors managing city infrastructure and supporting social and healthcare;

· Riverside and City Centre 5G Neutral Host, a high bandwidth 5G small cell network within the inner-city ring-road and Riverside Sunderland and associated infrastructure to support 5G network infrastructure including road, public and bridge infrastructure

· Transport mobility hub – ‘one-stop shop’ for sustainable mobility choices ranging from e-bikes, e-scooters, electric or ULEV car sharing vehicle.
