Explorer – Netpark

The £7.6m Explorer buildings are found at the North East Technology Park (NETPark) and offer science, engineering and technology companies a combination of a clean room, laboratory and office environment in units ranging from 116sqm to 500sqm.

The project is helping to address the region’s shortage of high quality office/laboratory space; attracting incoming business to the North East and supporting the growth of businesses already established on NETPark.  On opening, two businesses have promptly expanded and taken occupancy – Ibex Innovations Ltd (X-ray imaging company) and PragmatIC Printing (world leaders in the design and manufacture of ultra-low cost, flexible electronics).

The project consists of two buildings, each with two floors, providing in total 2,248sqm of high quality flexible lab and office accommodation with capacity to accommodate up to six businesses.
The project builds upon NETPark’s established presence as a location for world class science and technology companies. Over the past 10 years the park has become home to 31 organisations employing over 400 people.
