Emily Cox MBE
Main Board Member and Investment Board Member.
Emily is the Group Head of Colleague Relations & Policy at Lloyds Banking Group. She was previously the Director of Public Affairs at Virgin Money.
Emily and her family are based in the North East of England. She is the Deputy-Chair of the CBI North East Council, having been its Chair from January 2019 to December 2020. She is the Chair of the Group Board at Gentoo, a large housing association in Sunderland and she is a member of the Board at the Sage Gateshead, an international music venue in the North East. She is also a Leadership Fellow at St George’s House, Windsor Castle.
Emily led the work on the Gadhia HM Treasury Review into the representation of women in senior roles in the financial services sector. She was awarded an MBE in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to gender diversity in the financial services sector.
